Could The Limited Scion Monogram Series Be A Collectible One Day?

The Scion brand has been defunct for 5 years now. Some people wonder if Scion vehicles will end up as collectible cars. If you ask us, not all Scion vehicles will turn into collectibles. Yet, there’s a type of Scion vehicle we’re pretty sure will become a collectible one day. It's the limited edition Monogram Series models.

In 2014, Scion rolled out this exclusive trim level for two of its models: FR-S and tC. Scion only produced 2,000 units of the FR-S Monogram Series and 2,500 units of the tC Monogram Series. That’s why we’re confident that these vehicles will become collectibles in the future.

What Is The Monogram Series?

The Monogram Series is a high-end trim level with more luxurious features for the FR-S and tC models.

While developing this limited series, Scion went over both the FR-S and tC to improve the look and features of both models. They put in some high-end features. For example, they put Alcantara inserts in the FR-S and navigation technology into both.

Through this limited edition Monogram Series, Scion brought together extra comforts and conveniences in the FR-S and tC without sacrificing value,” said Scion Vice President Doug Murtha. “By incorporating these features as standard for a limited time, we provide a great price to go head-to-head with the competition and encourage more drivers to get excited about experiencing a Scion.”

Here are the exact details for both:
