2000 Toyota Tundra vs 2019 Toyota Tundra
You'd assume that a newer model of an iconic truck would be bigger and better in all ways, but after putting together this comparison chart we learned that's not the case with the Tundra. The 2019 Tundra is taller, wider, heavier, and has more horsepower than the 2000 Tundra, but the newer model can't haul or tow as much as the older model. Plus, it's not quite as far off the ground.
We've still got a lot of love for the Tundra, despite its creep downward in an area we find valuable in a truck (towing and hauling capability). We like that the price hasn't shot up and that today's Tundra is a six-speed with a touch better torque.
