  If you have a 2021 - 2023 4Runner, and would like to improve both the on and off-road ride quality, you should check out this TRD Pro Suspension Kit. The kit is designed and tuned specifically for the 4Runner by Fox Factory. The Fox shocks in this kit have patented internal bypass technology. The internal bypass allows both compression and rebound damping to be controlled based on the position of the suspension. A hydraulic bump zone is activated in the last few inches of suspension travel to prevent harsh bottoming out. These shocks feature:

  • Position-sensitive damping that creates an initial plush ride and progressively increases in firmness as the suspension compresses.
  • Internal Floating Pistons (IFP) in each aluminum damper provide fade-free performance and maximum damping.
  • 2.5-inch diameter aluminum bodies lower overall suspension weight and increase the shock fluid capacity for greater cavitation resistance.
  • Custom valving, shock fluid, and nitrogen gas pressure improve bump compliance and help maximize seal life.
  • Dust boots protect hardened, oversized shock shafts.
  • These shocks bolt in utilizing all OE chassis fasteners, mounting points, and bushings.
  • The rear shocks include remote reservoirs, which help to keep the shock fluid cooler.

  You can install these shocks yourself. The front coilover assembly includes the spring already installed. This means that you do not have to compress springs when you remove the old suspension, or when you install the new coilovers. The rear shocks just bolt in.   With shocks, there is no replacement for diameter. These 2.5" diameter shocks have a much larger than stock inner piston valving circumference.
