Learn to Drive a Supercar - Toyota Parts Blog

As many of you visiting this blog probably know, Toyota is taking the supercar industry by storm with its growing in popularity Lexus LFA. Designed to combine luxury with race/super-car specifications, the LFA houses a 4.8 Liter, 552 horsepower V10 engine, and makes it from 0-60 in 3.6 seconds. For the selected few who will receive such beasts of machinery, however, your everyday street smarts aren’t going to take full potential of the LFA’s design. This is why, the second week of March, Toyota will be holding the Driver Development Program for the Lexus LFA.

“The program offers a blend of racing theory, track lapping sessions, performance limit exercises and technical demonstrations on one of the most challenging racing circuits in the world,” said Mark Templin, group vice president and general manager, Lexus Division, via Toyota’s online newsroom. According to the news release there, the course will “[offer] a blend of racing theory, track lapping sessions, performance limit exercises and technical demonstrations on one of the most challenging racing circuits in the world”
