Numbers for Toyota Up 18% - Toyota Parts Blog
Last year was quite an experience for Toyota Motor Corp. With more than 1.5 million vehicles produced in North America, the company grew despite the recalls and economic depressions they had to fight through as a company.
According to their press release on the Toyota online pressroom, the company’s production grew 18% despite these challenges. Over the last year, they revealed several new concepts, and turned a single car line into a whole family of ecologically sound vehicles that appeal to all types of consumers. As a company they also formed an alliance between a revolutionary company, Tesla Motors, and is now cooperating to create a new breed of electric and hybrid vehicles that will likely change the automotive industry for the better.
