2021 toyota camry

If you’re looking for a mid-size sedan, you’ve probably considered the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord. As a Toyota parts dealer, we’re a little biased when it comes to selecting which is better.

If you really want to know which one is better, just take a look at this comparison information.

Fuel Economy: Winner: Camry – The Camry gets 39mpg on the highway beating out the Accord, which gets 38mpg on the highway. The Camry has a slight edge, but it’s very close.

Price: Winner: Tie (almost) – This one is close.  The 2021 Toyota Camry LE starts at $25,045, whereas the 2021 Honda Accord LX starts at $24,970 - a difference of only $75.

Horsepower: Winner: Camry – The 2021 Camry LE gets 202-203 horsepower whereas the Accord LX gets 192. The Camry is the clear winner on this one.

Technology & Entertainment: Winner: Camry – The 2021 Camry comes with satellite radio (3-month satellite radio service trial included) and a standard 6 speaker system. The Accord offers only an AM/FM radio and 4 standard speakers.

Comfort: Winner: Tie – When it comes to leg, hip, and headroom, the interiors of the Camry and Accord are pretty close. The Accord has slightly more front-seat legroom (.2 inches), while the Camry has a bit more backseat legroom (.7 inches). All in all, both cars have similar dimensions.

Looking at just specs, the Camry is the clear winner. Then consider the 2020 list of Best Selling Cars in the US. The Camry placed 6th, while the Accord landed at 17th place. It also earned a five-star overall safety rating. All good reasons to go with the Camry.
